The Lewes Advanced Placement Summer Institute is an intensive program designed to give Advanced Placement teachers experience in developing and teaching AP* Program courses. Student success on the national exam is the ultimate goal.
All classes are held at the Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, Delaware. Opened in 2009 the school is a state-of-the-arts facility with wireless capability throughout the school.
Dr. Frampton founded and developed the Lewes AP Summer Institute and has served for as Director for 19 years. The holder of five academic degrees along with 33 years experience in public education, he continues to serve the College Board as a consultant has read AP exams and was appointed to the National Advisory Counsel for AP Summer Institutes.
His recent book Oops I’m a Teacher relates the adventure of high school teaching in addition to the obstacles, issues that are seldom addressed beyond the high school walls. Signed copies will be available at the registration desk.
