Tuition

Non-refundable registration fee of $75 required on all registrations plus tuition.

The tuition includes payment for 30 hours of instruction, a College Board endorsed professional development certificate, course materials, lab fees, complimentary textbooks, College Board booklets, Lewes AP gifts, and catered lunch at a waterfront restaurant.

ALL COLLEGE BOARD SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS:

Please return to the Lewes AP office a printed copy of your scholarship award email (must include the scholarship title and award amounts). The scholarship confirmation can be returned via snail mail or fax #302-644-0277, all our contact information is on our website. Make sure you register online for Lewes AP & indicate scholarship for payment. All College Board Scholarships require the $75 registration fee.

Please Note:
A non-refundable registration fee of $75 is due for all registration (online & mail) including scholarship recipients.
Purchase Orders must include the non-refundable fee if not previously paid. Registration and payment in full may also be made to: "Lewes AP" at time of registration. Full payment is expected by invoice date. Any tuition problems please call Lewes AP @ 302-644-0277.

Cancellation deadline:

Cancellation Fee:
Full refund minus the $75.
Any participant unable to attend may send a substitute for any course that has space available.

** All cancellations must be in writing via fax or mailed to the Lewes AP office. E-mails are not accepted.

AP Fellows:
AP Fellows is an annual competitive grant program that provides AP Summer Institute scholarships for high school teachers at schools serving minority or low-income students who have been traditionally underrepresented in AP courses. The $1,000 scholarships cover the cost of APSI tuition; any remaining funds may be applied to travel and expenses.
Deadline: February 19, 2018

Scholarship Requirements:

Teachers Must:

  • Be planning to teach an AP course in the 2018–19 academic year; and
  • Teach in schools that meet one of the following criteria:
    • At least 50 percent of the student population consists of underrepresented minorities (American Indian/Alaska Native, Black/African-American, and/ or Hispanic/Latino students) AND/OR
    • At least 50 percent of the student population qualifies for free or reduced-price lunch.
  • Not have received a College Board APSI scholarship for the same subject within the last three years.

AP Rural Fellows:
AP Rural Fellows is an annual competitive grant program that provides AP Summer Institute scholarships for teachers serving in rural areas of the country. The $1,500 scholarships cover APSI tuition; any remaining funds may be applied to travel and expenses.

Scholarship Requirements:

Teachers Must:

  • Be planning to teach an AP course in the 2018–19 academic year
  • Teach in a school that meets the following criteria:
  • Not have received a College Board scholarship for an APSI in the same subject you are now applying for within the last three years (2015, 2016, or 2017)
  • Not have any additional sources of funding (for example, state funding) for professional development

AP Redesign Scholarships:
AP Redesign Scholarships cover APSI tuition costs for teachers who will be teaching the redesigned AP U.S. Government and Politics in the 2018-19 academic year.
Deadline: February 15, 2018

Scholarship Requirements:

Teachers Must:

  • Plan to teach AP U.S. Government and Politics in the 2018–19 academic year
  • Teach in districts with a median income of below $87,500 and/or in schools at which at least 50 percent of the student qualify for free or reduced-price lunch

Payment Policy:

  • Before a online registration is accepted, a $75 non-refundable registration fee must be made via PayPal or a check for $75 must accompany a mailed application.
  • All registrations will be processed through invoices with a Due Date, unless payment made via Pay Pal.
  • Purchase Orders must be paid by Due Date on invoice. This is the policy of the Lewes AP Institute unless prior arrangements are made with the business manager by calling (302) 644-0277
  • There are no refunds for "no shows."
  • Three weeks prior to the start of the first session all payments must be made by credit card, PayPal or check.
  • No one is to be admitted to class without payment in full.
ONLINE PAYMENT:

All online payments are made through PayPal and automatically generate a reserved space in the program.

Confirmation e-mail will be received after tuition is paid in full.
