Historical Lewes & Lewes Beach
A quiet but progressive beach town where the sun, the sand, and the sea are the number one attractions. Within a half square mile you will find the Historic District featuring museums, fine restaurants, a variety of shops, and stunning architecture.

Cape Henlopen State Park
Over 5,000 acres of scenic landscape and waterside views with walking & biking trails, camp grounds, nature center (great for bird watching). and many hidden treasures waiting to be discovered.

Zwaanendael Museum
The Zwaanendael museum commemorates Delaware’s first European colony, Swanendael, established by the Dutch in 1631. This museum serves as a showcase for the Lewes area’s maritime, military and social history.

Fort Miles Museum
Located within Cape Henlopen State Park, Fort Miles is a decommissioned World War II U.S. Army Base. It has since been converted to a public museum where you can explore the bunkers and learn about Army life on the base.

Lightship overfalls Museum
The Lightship Overfalls, was the last lightship built for the U.S. Lighthouse Service. Now, docked along the canal front in historic Lewes, Delaware, the Overfalls Lightship Maritime Museum is typically open on weekends during the summer. Visitors can take a guided tour above and below decks. Admission is $5.

Abraxas Studio of art
Luminist artist Abraxas' works are showcased in his gallery in downtown Lewes. Through a combination of realism and light, Abraxas creates works of art that he hopes will inspire others to seek adventure and beauty in life.
